The Ben Dwyer Xperiment is a 7-piece interstellar funk outfit, crash-landing onto Earth with a mission to merge timeless grooves, a sci-fi spectacle, and high-energy musicianship into an unforgettable live experience.

Fronted by Dr. Ben, a daring, time-bending Space Funk Scientist, and backed by a fully suited crew of astronaut musicians, the band transforms every performance into a cosmic adventure where funk meets theatre meets pure elation.

With a sound and look inspired by Jamiroquai, HENGE, and Parliament-Funkadelic, The Ben Dwyer Xperiment blends classic funk with an experimental, futuristic twist. Their music is rich with deep-pocket grooves, soaring improvisations, and cosmic textures, all wrapped in a vibrant sci-fi aesthetic that makes their shows feel more like immersive events than traditional gigs.

The band has taken their unique experience to stages including Cheltenham Jazz Festival, Aalen JazzFest in Germany, and a sold-out industry showcase at Ninety One Living Room, building a reputation for electrifying performances that fuse musicianship with world-building, character, and story.

The Xperiment’s creative momentum continues to accelerate with the release of their latest single “Afrodite,” alongside a bespoke Gorillaz-style animated music video, followed by their debut full-length album, Organic Magic, which landed in May 2026.

Fans can listen on all major streaming platforms and follow the band on social media for updates, behind-the-scenes content, and upcoming gigs.
