Keeping a festival sustainable is a collaborative process

Sustainability is very important to Love Supreme and we all have a part to play.

Help us keep the festival green and clean by bringing a reusable water bottle to top up at our refill stations, taking your tent home at the end of the weekend and correctly sorting your waste into our easy-to-use recycling bins.

Read on to find out more about what we’re doing, and what you can do to limit your impact on the local environment and community.

Leave No Trace

Please take your tent home at the end of the weekend and leave no trace making use of bins and recycling points around the festival.

Consider Public Transport

Glynde is very well connected with its own railway station and additional services running over the festival weekend. We also operate festival bus services from Lewes and Brighton so, if you want to leave the car at home you can. Find out more on our travel page.

Bring a bottle

We have multiple refill stations across the festival. You’re allowed to bring in a reusable bottle up to 750ml to refill over the course of the weekend and reduce your impact.

Bring your own coffee cup

Traders can pour your morning coffee into your own cup if you bring it with you, saving the use of a compostable disposable cup on site.

Reusable Cups

To help keep the site clean and green, the bars at Love Supreme will be serving drinks in reusable cups.

Buy your first drink and a one-off charge of £2 will be applied. Keep hold of your cup and you won’t need to pay again. Next time you get a drink, take your cup to the bar and it will be swapped for a clean one at no further cost.

Want to take a break? Take your cup to any bar and you will receive a token that you can use to get a free clean cup later. All returned cups will be washed and reused.

Once you’ve finished drinking, return your cups to the bars or designated cup bins. Thanks for helping us reduce waste and support a more sustainable event!

Help us manage waste

You’ll find clearly labelled recycling stations across the festival site. Please take a moment to check the signage before disposing of your waste and use the correct bin wherever possible.

By separating your waste correctly, you can help us maximise recycling, reduce contamination and minimise the environmental impact of the festival.

Together, we can keep Love Supreme clean, green and sustainable for everyone.
